Chatni Indian restaurant is a family run restaurant and located in quite village
Methven in Perthshire Scotland. It was established with an expectation that people
will come from far away for quality food and service. Chatni is located only
5 minutes drive from the city of Perth and 15 minutes from Auchterarder and Crieff.

Chef Edris has 40 years of experience in Indian cooking. His menu offers classic
and contemporary dishes with both vegetarian and non vegetarian options. Cooking
is a hobby and art that he enjoys. Chef Edris’s cooking style is Bangladeshi but
his menu cover dishes from across Indian subcontinent. Dishes such as Masbangla
(Talipa fish cooked with Aubergine and potato) and Freshwater giant king prawn
that are popular in south of Bangladesh are also popular with his regulars.
Tandoori, Balti and Birani dishes are also hit with regular and new a like.
He prides himself on the freshness of his incidents, the quality of his Chef and
varied menu options.

Chatni restaurant is home in an 18th century detached cottage. Interior is quite
modern, elegant dining room with separate lounge area. Fusion of black, white and
red as primary colour and hanging pictures of various spices and ornaments make
this restaurant spacious and relax ambience. It has seating capacity of 40 on a
regular day which can be in creased to 65 to cater for events or parties.
